St. Bernard Parish will hold a primary election on March 26th, 2022, with a general election on April 30, 2022 (should primary result in run-off). Qualifying period is January 26-28, 2022 at the Clerk of Court’s Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Early voting is March 12-19, 2022 at the Registrar of Voter’s Office. Positions to be filled are as follows: School Board Member – District 3 seat; Constable – Ward “A”; and Justice of the Peace – Ward “D”.

Election update: April 4th, 2020 primary election is postponed until June 20th, 2020 with general election to follow on July 25th, 2020.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the Clerk of Court is prohibiting public entry effective immediately. All filings and recordings will be accepted via facsimile or mail. As for prescription cases, pursuant to Governor’s Order, all prescriptions are suspended until April 13th, 2020.

Primary Election: Tuesday, November 4th, 2014.
Monday, October 6th, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the St. Bernard Parish Courthouse the PBES will draw Commissioners to serve for Tuesday November 4th, 2014 election. Letters will be mailed to those Commissioners selected, including notice of mandatory pre-election class. Anyone interested in witnessing the drawing of Commissioners is welcome to attend.
